Online ticket payment is available for eligible citations. You can also pay by phone at (866) 895-0198. Court records get updated every 24 hours. So if you just got a ticket today, it might not show up in the online system until tomorrow. For the most current information, call the court clerk directly.

For in-person requests, go to the clerk's office at 25 N Park Place. Bring a photo ID and the name or case number you are looking for. Staff can print copies while you wait. Standard copy fees range from $0.10 to $1.00 per page depending on the type of document.

Points and Your Driving Record
Traffic convictions in Lake County get reported to the Ohio BMV under ORC Section 4510.036. Courts must send abstracts within ten days of a conviction. Points range from two for minor violations to six for offenses like OVI or leaving the scene of a crash.
Six points in two years triggers a warning letter. Twelve points means a six-month suspension. A remedial driving course can take off two points, but the BMV only allows one credit every three years and five in a lifetime.
