Clinton County Municipal Court

The Clinton County Municipal Court is the main court for traffic ticket records in the county. Judge David M. Henry hears all traffic cases that come through. The court sits on the second floor of the Wilmington City Building. Hours run Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Note the early close on Fridays.

Since October 15th, the court has a new security procedure. Everyone entering must go through metal detection screening. Backpacks and suitcases are not allowed inside. There is also a dress code. These rules apply to anyone coming in for a traffic case hearing, to pay a fine, or to look up records. If you plan to visit in person, keep these rules in mind so you do not get turned away at the door.
