Logan Municipal Court Traffic Cases

The Logan Municipal Court handles most traffic tickets issued in Hocking County. This court covers traffic violations, misdemeanor cases, and small civil claims. If you were pulled over on US Route 33, State Route 664, or any local road in the county, your ticket likely goes through this court. The court has its own clerk who processes traffic fines and maintains case files.

Hocking County draws a lot of visitors to its state parks, especially Hocking Hills State Park. That means a fair number of traffic tickets get issued to people who do not live in the area. If you are an out-of-town driver who got a ticket while visiting, the same rules apply. You need to contact the Logan Municipal Court to handle your citation. Many minor traffic tickets can be paid without appearing in court, which is convenient if you live far away. Check your citation for details on whether a court appearance is required.

Some small villages in the county run Mayor's Courts for minor traffic violations. Those records are kept separately. If you cannot find your case in the CourtView system, contact the village where the ticket was issued.
